dreamjoblife.com is operated by DreamJobLife, a small recruitment advertising and introduction service based in Pasir Ris, Singapore. It lists home-based roles and connects people who are interested with the organisations offering them. We do not employ the people who apply. This page sets out, in plain terms, what information reaches us when you browse the site, apply for a role or email us, and what happens to it afterwards. Personal data is handled here in accordance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012. Where this page says "personal data", it means anything that identifies you or could reasonably be used to identify you. "We" and "us" refer to DreamJobLife. "Employer" refers to the organisation behind the role you are asking about.
Applying involves two things: a short form and a WhatsApp message to our HR team. Through them we usually receive your name, your mobile or WhatsApp number, your email address, the role you are interested in and the times you are available, plus anything you choose to add in your message. Emails to us bring us your address and the contents of the email.
The form marks which fields must be filled in. Without a way to contact you, for example, we cannot reply or pass your application on. You do not have to give us anything beyond the marked fields to be considered.
Every page request leaves a technical trail: your connection's IP address, the browser and device you use, the page requested, the page that linked to it and the time. Our hosting provider holds these logs so the site keeps working and so attacks can be blocked. They are kept apart from applications and we do not use them to identify applicants.
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Our hosting and security provider may use one strictly necessary cookie to separate real visitors from automated traffic. Blocking or clearing cookies in your browser will not stop the pages from working.
As of the date above there are no analytics scripts, advertising tags or remarketing lists on dreamjoblife.com. Should that change, this section will be updated first to name the provider, describe what it receives and explain how to opt out. Your name, number and email will not be put into web addresses or tracking events.
Your details let us read and reply to your application, work out which role suits you, introduce you to the employer for that role, keep a record of what was shared and when, handle complaints or misuse, and comply with the law. Applying is not consent to marketing. Contact lists are not sold, rented or traded.
Tapping our WhatsApp button opens a chat with a message already typed; nothing is sent until you press Send yourself. Once sent, your message is stored by WhatsApp under its own terms and privacy policy as well as by us. If you would rather not use WhatsApp, email us instead and we will handle your application the same way.
Access is limited to the members of our team who process applications. When you ask about a role, the details that role needs are shared with its employer, and we tell you who that employer is before we introduce you. If you would like to be considered by a different employer, we ask you first.
Cloudflare hosts the site, protects it from attacks and forwards email sent to our address. Google Fonts supplies the typefaces, which means your browser contacts Google when a page loads. WhatsApp carries the messages you choose to send us. Each of these providers processes data under its own terms. If we add another service, this list is updated before it starts.
Some of the providers above run servers outside Singapore, including in the United States. Where personal data leaves Singapore, we rely on providers that are bound to protect it to a standard comparable to the PDPA.
We may disclose personal data where a law requires us to, or where it is reasonably needed to look into fraud, someone misusing our name, or a risk to a person's safety.
Applications and the messages linked to them are kept for up to twelve months after we last spoke with you about work, and then deleted. Hosting logs are cleared within 30 days. Backups that still hold deleted records are overwritten within a further 30 days.
All pages load over HTTPS. Only the people who handle applications can open them, and applications are not copied to shared folders or group chats. No method of storage is completely secure, but we act promptly on anything that looks wrong.
We never ask applicants for payment, passwords or banking details.
There is no need to send your NRIC or FIN number, passport details, one-time passcodes, card numbers or photos of ID documents, and we ask that you do not. If any of them arrive by mistake, we delete them.
You may ask what personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, withdraw consent to its use or ask for it to be deleted. Send the request to careers@dreamjoblife.com from the address or number you applied with so we can confirm it is you.
Requests are handled within 30 days and we confirm the outcome in writing. If some part cannot be carried out, for instance because a record must be kept for legal reasons, we explain why.
You can withdraw your application at any time by email and we stop processing it at once. A withdrawal cannot recall details already passed to an employer, but we will tell you which employer received them so you can contact them directly.
Deleting what we hold does not remove copies held by an employer or stored inside WhatsApp. Where that applies, we tell you which organisation to contact.
Every application is read by a person; software alone does not decide anything about you. We do not send newsletters or promotions based on your application.
The site is for adults looking for work. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children and remove it if we find we have.
If you think your data has been mishandled, email careers@dreamjoblife.com and tell us what happened. We look into it and reply in writing. If the reply does not settle it, write back and a second person on our team will review the matter.
When this notice changes, the date at the top changes too. If an update affects how we use data we already hold, we contact the people concerned before it applies.
